strawberry limeade.. or something like that

After a week or so of horrible, rainy weather, the Bay Area finally got some sunshine this weekend. So, I felt like doing some summery makeup! The berry pinks and hint of lime in this look make me reminisce of strawberry limeade... not that I've ever had one or anything. That sounds like something Sonic would carry. But I do not live near a Sonic. And that ramble was pointless.

Okay... since this is my blog, I gotta have a sappy, personal moment here. Tomorrow is Christian and mine's 3 year anniversary. Even though he's in Afghanistan, he sent me a gift. A huge gift. A surprise gift!
I enjoy collecting orchids, and of course Christian had to do a little better than any old regular orchid: he got me a beautiful 5-foot tall one!
Oh.. I'm the luckiest girl in the world. Yeah. I love you, Christian!

I bought Trax e/s looking for a bruise-y, plum color. I love anything with gold shimmer, so Trax won me over. After using it in a look... I hate it. The shimmer only applies in some places, leaving the others a matte chalky purple.

So. I'm going to return it.
