Yeah, well it was a total fucking scam. I never got my polish. And guess who the seller is? A 'trusted blogger' and NBer.

Someone on the MUA nailboard pieced together a trail of bread crumbs and it led to her. I'm so appaled... how could someone fucking do that?
And to top it all off, I won a giveaway of hers. I won(and RECEIVED) Stellar Notte (in this post).
People on the NB bought DS Glamour and Essie Starry Starry Night (which she sold for $50) from her. Imagine all the fucking money she stole. And to top it all off, she emptied her Paypal account so now everyone who bought from her CAN'T GET A FUCKING REFUND.
So fucking disgusting. I hope she deletes her blog and never comes back.

ReplyDeleteHave you tried searching at small nail salons?... I was just at one today that had a few bottles of DS Glamour and DS Fantasy (looks like Glamour with less holo-ness). I'm always finding discontinued colors there! Today I saw "Thrills in Beverly Hills" top coat and DS "Amethyst"!

I usually buy a lot from Ebay so thank you for sharing this! Paypal administrators cannot handle with the issue when the seller emptied the account? Please try contacting Paypal, i'm hoping they can fix this...

ReplyDeleteif its through eBay, open a dispute on Paypal that you never recieved the item.
Then if she doesnt respond or cant prove you sent it you will get refunded and her Paypal account will become negative and evenchally they will take it from her bank account.
alternatively eBay will refund you and she will get a phone call about her feeds!
Honestly, you can't lose if you used paypal chick, contact me if you're stuck on what to do :)

I don't really believe the story that girl told. Doesn't really make sense, so they're not really her cousins, but use paypal to pay her...I don't know, seems strange. I just hope you do get your money back and hopefully you can put this all behind you. its a shame people would rather get their name dirty for something so simple as a nail polish.

I am so sorry that you got ripped off! I heard about this a few days ago (sorry, I am behind on my comments!) and this isn't the only scandal that has been around her in the past few weeks. The whole of the nail blogging community has abandoned her at this point it seems.

ReplyDeleteIs it that difficult to understand that it's MONEY. People paid actual money, real money.... maybe you missed that part? They never got their item and couldn't get back money. Getting scammed out of a polish and your money is wrong.
Oh and yes, I wouldn't be too happy about some fool slamming their door or cart into my car either. None of it is OK and it's perfectly fine to get upset about. Nice to see the scammers being called out and shared by other bloggers so that the rest of us are aware and stay away.
