Have to be honest here:
It is a little over rated.

The MES are SO damn hard to work with. So hard to blend and tons of fall out. The GPS sucks, too. I don't see why anyone would want to buy it... it started running on me within 3 minutes the MA put it on, and in the pictures you can see on the outer corner of my eye how it kinda just 'rubbed' off. Ugh.

Here's the makeover FOTD... these pictures were taken about an hour after I got my makeover. GPS is AMAZING quality, right?! We HAVE to get it, right?! Hell naw...

eating healthy...

...is so hard.
I've picked up few bad habits over my life span, such as eating when I'm bored, crave something, or when I just feel like it. And I like sweets wayyy too much for my own good.
I've always been fairly active, but for the past couple of years my energy levels have been decreasing, and exercising is such a task that I just dread doing it.
Sometimes I can eat perfectly healthy throughout the day, but after I finish dinner, I'll have a couple of sweets and then some more and it goes on. Then I feel extremely guilty.
I guess I really just need some willpower. I need to stop snacking throughout the day and exercise a little more. I will try!

On a side now, I'm giving my nails a major, major rest. I chopped themoff as short as they can go, and I will continue to keep this them length until the stains and ridges grow out. I have huuuuge ridges on one of my nails.. I don't even know how they're possible. I feel so unfeminine with short nails, I can't wait for this to be over :(

It was birthday was yesterday! Just another day.. nothing special...
Ther lighting on these photos sucks SO BAD. It frustrates me... I think it's my walls that alters the color. Whatever it is, it really sucks and angers me to no end. I'll have to recreate this look soon, because I really liked it and these pictures do it absolutely no justice!

All of these were done with Konad black special polish and plate m57. Excuse the nasty cuticles... I always get the designs on them, and they're such a bitch to clean. Full plate designs really suck for that reason :(

Anyways, I'm off to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk with my boyfriend. They're having a barbeque for Marines and their friends and family. Should be fun :)

i love konad!

I just received my first Konad order! I ordered from OCNailArt.com, which I would HIGHLY recommend, as everyone else does :) I ordered the double ended stamper + scraper, plate holder (completely unnecessary), and 3 plates: m57, m41, and m71.

It's so much fun! Easier than I thought it'd be, too. It's a bit difficult to get to design perfect on your nail, but practice should take care of that. I did my mom's nails, and they were way easier to do than my own, surprisingly.

Through trial and error, I have come to the conclusion that girly pastel colors look best with my skin tone. Any other colors make them look red :(


OPI Dulce de Leche
Such a beautiful creamy nude/pink- reminds me of one of my favorite lip combos, Angel l/s with Patisserie l/s on top! This is my go-to color when I want delicate looking nails.

I was hoping for something close to MAC L&F, but ehh... but I still love DYLI! Such a gorgeous and fun color :) I also love this on my toes!
